STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Introduction

Welcome to LAJA Hotels. These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and sale of rooms and services across all properties listed under the LAJA portfolio (including 4-star and above properties). By making a reservation, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Reservation and Booking Policy

  • Guarantee Policy: All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by a valid credit card or advance payment.

  • Pricing: Rates are subject to change based on availability. Prices quoted at the time of booking are inclusive of room charges only, unless specified otherwise (e.g., Breakfast-inclusive rates).

  • Taxes: Statutory taxes (GST/VAT) as applicable by the Government of India or the respective country of the property will be charged extra.

3. Check-in and Check-out

  • Standard Times: Our standard check-in time is 14:00 hours and check-out is 12:00 hours.

  • Early Check-in/Late Check-out: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

  • Identification: As per government regulations, all guests (Indian or Foreign Nationals) must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, or Driving License) at the time of check-in.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made 48 to 72 hours prior to arrival (depending on the property) will not incur any charges.

  • Retention Charges: In case of late cancellation or a 'No-Show', the hotel reserves the right to charge a retention fee equivalent to one night's room rate.

  • Non-Refundable Rates: Certain promotional rates are non-refundable and cannot be modified.

5. Child & Extra Bed Policy

  • Children under 6 years can stay complimentary in the parent's room without an extra bed.

  • Children above 12 years will be considered adults and will require an extra bed at an additional cost.

6. Right of Admission

  • LAJA Hotels and its partner properties reserve the right of admission.

  • To maintain a premium environment, guests are expected to adhere to the hotel's decorum. Any illegal activity or conduct that disturbs other guests may lead to immediate eviction without a refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • While we ensure all our listed 4-star+ properties maintain the highest standards, LAJA Hotels acts as a facilitator and shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to baggage unless caused by the direct negligence of the hotel staff.

8. Force Majeure

  • Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disasters), war, or government-imposed travel restrictions.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert City Name - e.g., Mumbai/Delhi].
